What a Special Gift

I recently ordered Bagettes for all of the bridesmaids in my wedding and also one for my mother. What a special gift for those so close to you. My mother's reaction was probably the most poignant. I put a photo of the two of us together on one side when I was about 3 and one of us several years ago on the other side. What a memory for her! My younger sister's reaction was almost as teary! Again, I put an image of the two of us younger on one side, and the two of us older on the other. Two of my bridesmaids were mothers themselves, and not having great pictures of me with them, I decided to give them a bagette with a picture of their respective daughters on it. I can't tell how how special they felt to receive such personalized and heartfelt gifts. Everyone in the room was crying when I gave them out. What a wonderful way to give someone a meaningful gift!
