It was the best gift she has ever been given

I ordered a make up bag last September for my best friend,
we are both 31 and have been best friends since we were 6.  She was
recently getting married, so I had pic of her on a boat put on to one
of the bags.  Now my girlfriend is beautiful and very particular about
things.  She isn't big on knick knac items.  I thought she would like
this make up bag but wasn't sure.  We have been through alot together,
the loss of my mother, the loss of her dad and many other ups and downs.
25 years of solid friendship and I was asked to be her made of honour. 
I gave her the make up bag at her shower and she looked at me and with
tears in her eyes, she said your my family.  I had engraved family on
the make up bag.  Leslie has a sister whom she is super close to and
other friends but by far, we are the closest.  She didn't put the bag down
for hours, she carried it everywhere to show the new guests who arrived
late at the shower.  It was the best gift she has ever been given. 
Aside from her new husband.  She has it in plastic on a shelf in
her bedroom.  She says she is never using it, she wants to pull it out
in original condition when were 50 and 70.  Thank you for making an
already special event an even more memorable event.  She loved the make up
bag and it just solidified that we are indeed family.

Heads Were Turning

I purchased three bagettes for my bridesmaids. When I received my package...I screamed. I couldn't stand it!!! I truly contemplated moving my bridesmaids luncheon (well after my invites were mailed) so I could give my girls their bagettes early. When the time came to give my gifts......they went crazy, mind you we were in a restaurant, Oh yes....heads were turning. :) My bridesmaids were floored. "I love it so much I don't want to use it.......but I want to use it everyday", "I'm going to cry". By the next day the entire family heard about these bags. "What a great idea, I heard all about it." Memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you a hundred times over.

A Gift That Everyone will be Talking About for Years

I just got married on April 16th and I wanted to get the perfect gift for my bridesmaids. I am a huge picture taker and picture person. I have a camera with me all the time it seems like. There were five bridesmaids in my wedding and they all had been by my side through all of the good times in my life and all the bad times. Friends like these only happen once in a life time and I wanted to get them something that was truly special and sincere. When I found this website I knew this was the perfect gift!!! You should have seen the look on their faces when they opened them. My oldest sister started crying and said "I have never seen anything that fits you so perfect. This is truly the best gift." My best friend was so excited, she is from Brazil and immediately called her mom and told her and ordered her one for Mother's Day. My little sister that appreciates picture taking as much as I do was so taken away she said "This is the most unique and thoughtful gift I have ever gotten." She is getting one with her and her boyfriend on it. Everyone was so excited!! A lot of money goes into being in a wedding and I was just so thrilled that I could show them how much they meant to me and how much I appreciated everything they did for me on the most special day of my life! I Gave Them Not Only a Bag, but I gave them a Memory

Like most girls, my wedding was THE EVENT of my life.  Since I work in Public Relations, it’s my job to plan many different types of events.  I was my own wedding planner.  In the eight months I had to plan my wedding, I enjoyed every little detail that went into. 

The most important part of my wedding was for me and my future husband to be surrounded by the people we love.  When it came down to getting my bridesmaid’s gifts, I wanted it to be special.  Each received a jelly purse (the trend at the time) filled with lots of girly things.  I didn’t feel like my gift conveyed my friendship to them.  I wanted them to have something that reminded them of how special they are to me.

The only thing I could think of that would bring back old memories was a picture …but how traditional is that!  I am NOT the kind of girl who likes to have what everyone else has; I have to be special.  So when I found out that you could put pictures on bags and different things, I KNEW that this was the gift I had been looking for.  I carefully picked out pictures for each bagette.  They all had a picture of me with that specific person on it.  On top of that, I was able to personalize each with a little message on the ribbon.

On the day of my wedding as we sat in the dressing room fixing hair and putting on makeup, I gave each of them their presents.  As they opened the purses to find a bagette with our picture inside, their reactions were priceless.  Each face lit up with a different reaction.  I could see joy, excitement, happiness, tears of appreciation…Some laughed at the memories they thought of when they saw the picture I had chosen.  Some were amazed that something like this could be done.  I was so proud of the gift I was able to give them.

It has been about a year since then.  We have all graduated college and moved on – some of us near, some of us far away.  I love to think of that day and each face as they received their presents.  My best friend that I grew up with now lives over six hours away from me.  She called me the other day and said, “I was rummaging around in my purse today and saw my bagette; I just had to call you.” That is when I knew I picked the perfect present for my bridesmaids.  I didn’t just give them a bag, I gave them a memory.

Best Bridesmaid Gift Ever

I am so pleased to know that I gave my bridesmaids the BEST bridesmaids gift ever  when I gave them a BAGETTE.  I searched and searched for the most unique gift out there. I was also determined to get them something useful and something they would like.  (A person can only get so many engraved picture frames.) 

I had 7 bridesmaids in my wedding and each of them  represents a special part of my life.  My sisters are 21, 14,and 12 and they were all on the alter with me.  On their bags I put a picture of me and them when we were younger.  I particularly love the bag I gave my sister who is closest to my age.  We were probably 2 and 4 and my mom took a picture of us in the bubble bath.  She's not even a bit embaressed to show it in public, and I love that.  On the other side of their bags I put a photo of the 4 of us at one of my showers. For my new sisters-in-law I took a photo of all of my husbands siblings and put it on one side and on the other a special photo of me with each of them.  I did the same for my two girlfriends.  One of them is a friend from childhood so I put a photo from when we went backstage to meet our favorite band in high school and a photo of us looking our worst at our all-girls school.  My other friend was one from post-college and I used photos from some our best times together.  I also gave my mother a bag with the photo of her daughters on one side and a photo of my daughter on the other.

The bags are absolutely priceless and I can't think of a better way to show someone what they mean to you than by being able to capture a moment of your relationship on a bag that they can show to others.

The reaction I got from them was mostly laughter and then tears of joy.  And that is the best reaction I could ask for.  Since I gave them they tell me many many people have asked where they got such an amazing gift and want to hear the story behind the photos.  And the best compliment is that one year later they are all still using the bag everyday.  My sister uses it as a minipurse for her "unmentionables".

It truly is the most unique gift you can give since they are one of a kind.  I only wish I had made one for myself when I made theirs :o)

Forget my new Diamond Pendant, this bag is a must have!

I was lucky enough to receive a Bagette for a bridal party gift from my sister-in-law last spring. I think it is the most talked about item I own. Forget my new diamond pendant, this bag is a must have! Every time I take it out people stop me. I feel like I have the newest "it" item of the season, however, it is so much better. It is not a fad that will go away after the season ends, this is priceless. I have never received such a personal gift. The pictures are two of my favorites. One is of my sister-in-law and I at my baby shower, a very special day, and the reverse side is my sister-in-law, my daughter and I at my daughter's christening. I get a chance to revisit those wonderful memories every time I get out my Bagette. I know she gave out other gifts of thanks, but this is a memento I will have forever.

I Was Thanked Thousands of Times

I wanted to do something really unique for my bridesmaids since they are special to me.  Each girl is very different from the other but I wanted a gift everyone would enjoy.  My problem was solved when I saw Bagettes!  I selected the cosmetic bags with the ribbon for personalization. Every girl uses a cosmetic bag so I know they would be put to good use. Each bag had two or three pictures of my most memorable and funny moments with the girfriend that was to receive the bag.  I carefully selected pictures that will make you cry laughing and reminesce of the good times we had.  At the rehearsal dinner, I made all of the girls open the gifts at the same time and everyone was screaming and laughing so hard.  It was a hit! The rest of the party gathered around the table to see what all the commotion was about and everyone was crying with laughter as they passed all of the bags around for everyone to see. I was thanked thousands of times from all of the girls as they told me that this was the best bridesmaids gift they had ever received. They Had Never Seen Anything So Adorable

I have to tell you first of all how I discovered Bagettes.  I was watching a special on "Trista and Ryan's Wedding"....all of us reality TV fans will know who I am talking about.  Well, they were showing all the gifts that Trista had given to her bridesmaids and low and behold....one of them were these adorable photo bags similar to Bagettes.  I thought it was the cutest idea and such a personal gift for each special bridesmaid.  I decided that I wanted to do the same for my 8 bridesmaids and 2 flowergirls.  Upon researching over the internet all of the different vendors who offered these adorable photo bags...I came across Bagettes.  Not only did Bagettes offer a variety of different styles and sizes but they were by far the most reasonably priced as well.  After I had gathered all the pictures needed for each of my girls' bags...I sent them on their way to the wonderful staff at Bagettes.  I could not have imagined how terrific their customer service was.  Not only did they call to let me know they had received my photos and were starting my order...but they kept me updated every step of the way with emails on the progress of my order.  As every bride can agree..this was a huge relief for me to have one less thing to worry about.  The day I was notified that my order was shipped...I was ecstatic...I could not wait to see how each bag turned out.  When I finally received my order in the mail....I was like a kid on Christmas morning.  I was more impressed than I had imagined with the outcome of the bagettes....I chose the makeup size bags that had 2 different pictures on each side and came with personalized zipper pulls (at no extra charge---on each one I got to chose a personal message for each of my girls').  I couldn't wait until our rehersal dinner so I could see the reaction of all my bridesmaids.  When they finally opened their bagettes...each and every girl told me they had never seen anything so adorable.  Now whenever I see my friends, it makes me so happy to see them pulling their bagettes out of their purses when we meet for lunch or a girl's night out.  It is the perfect gift for someone special!!! She Appreciated It Even More Than the Diamond Necklace

I got married in June and was looking for something special to give my sister (my maid of honor and best friend).  I found a gorgeous necklace (a diamond shooting star) and wanted to present it in a unique way.  I came across Bagettes online and thought it would be the perfect "wrapping" for the necklace.  I ordered one for my sister that had a picture of us as little girls on one side and one of us grown up on the other.  I put the necklace in the bag along with a poem and gave it to my sister at the Rehersal Dinner....

Well- let me tell you- the Bagette was a huge hit!  My sister cried when she saw it.  She was so moved by the bag and appreciated it even more than the diamond necklace that was inside.  My soon to be sister-in-law cried when she saw it as well and now I know what I am getting her for the next special occassion- a Bagette with pictures of us. I think I have started a new tradition in our family.  My cousin is pregnant and as soon as the baby is born I am going to get her a Bagette with pictures of her and the baby!

Experiencing a Wonderful Feeling

It all started when my fiancee/now husband proposed to me on January 3, 2004. Seven months later we had a wonderful wedding with our families and close friends. My sister was my matron of honor and my mom also stood up for me.  I wanted to honor them with something memorable. So, I started my search online for custom make-up bags.
