She absolutely flipped out

I actually gave a bagette to my mother. She absoulutely flipped out! All she could do was stare with the biggest smile on her face at the bagette. My mother is the biggest person on family. She is so proud of our family and would do anything for anyone of us. The pictures on the bagette were one of me and my mother because we are so close. We talk everyday at least twice. The other pic. was one of me and my older brother. The pictures were the most recent ones we had from this years Thanksgiving. The significance of this is because I'm away at college and my brother is away at Medical school in Tennessee. She was so happy that she changed her small bag in her purse directly to the bagette I had got her! She still talks to me about it and all the compliments she gets on it, which means an opportunity to talk about her family!! Thank you for doing such a great job!!! She said it was the best gift she had received!! Have a great day!! LL- St. Joseph, MO

If it was perfume or clothes, I knew she would have told me to return them but this was different

My husband and I live with my aunt and uncle who have no children. My aunt has always loved me like I was her daughter so I wanted to care for her and my uncle. My son who is 4 is the apple of my aunt's eye so for Mother's Day, I decided to get her the keychain with two pictures of my son on either side of them. She had a plastic picture holder that broke and instead of replacing that, I thought this was much cuter and creative. On Mother's Day morning, I sent my son in their room with a bag. At first she got angry at me for getting something because she says that I shouldn't waste money. This is why I sent my son in. (Hehe) As soon as she opened the bag, her facial expression changed. She looked so happy that such an intimate gift was given to her. If it was perfume or clothes, I knew she would have told me to return them but this was different. She immediately stuck it on her ring of keys and puts loose change in there. Wherever she goes, she has my son near her. To her, he is her first and only grandson so my choice in a gift this year has to be the best. Thanks Bagettes.com for making this year's Mother's Day the best for my aunt. AS - Bellflower, CA

My Mother secretly wanted one too

I had oredered all my bridesmades Bagettes for my wedding last year. They made such a hit. Since then my mother secretly wanted one too. So now that I'm married and living far away from her, I figured the most meaningful gift I could give her was a picture of us together when I was young and a picture of us togther now. When she opened the box, she saw the Bagette and immediately got teary-eyed. "I've wanted one of these for so long" she said. "Because I don't get to see you on a daily basis anymore I now can see your face and think of you everytime I open my purse", she replied. I am so thankful that she was so touched by this gift. I can only imagine how hard it must be for a mother to have her "baby" get married and move across the country. Thank you Bagettes for connecting my mother and I in such a special way. It immediately brought tears to her eyes

I purchased one of your cosmetic bags for a Mother's Day / Wedding present for my mother ... I actually custom-made a pendant out of my deceased grandmother's gold (she was very close with us!) and had each of my mother's children birthstone laid in the gold (my sister, me & my brother) .. then i put the pendant in your cosmetic bag, which i had a picture of me & my mother when i was younger & on the other side a picture of us currently, i also did the custom writting on the ribbon saying ... "always your little girl" and my husband & I wedding date ... she just loved the bag ... she said she thought it was too special / nice to use (i am encouraging her it is still ok, that what it is for!) she was so excited she almost forgot to open it to see what was inside .... anyways, everyone loved the bag, i especially loved that i could have a more meaningful "wrapping" for such a special/meaningful gift. My mother was truly surprised & in tears ... everyone was asking "! where can i get one!!!" "where did you get this done"! You guys truly have a great product. Also, I did one for my sister ... she "technically" isn't a mother, but you know the people who treat their animals as their kids...that is MY family. Anyways, my sister had a boxer, that was just TOOO special, she had him for 5yrs i believe, LONG story short, he had epilepsy & was on medication for the seizures, we went out of town for a couple days & we boarded the dogs, when we got back the boxer was just not himself, he started attacking people, he bit 3 people in a matter of a couple days, and then he turned on my mother, he tried to attack her ... so the vet said, the kennel probably didn't give him his meds properly & he might be "brain damaged" which was what he acted like ... after a lot of thought / tears, my sister made the decision that it was best to put him down, it was not an easy decision, but she felt it was the safest decision ... till this day my sister cannot hardly thikn about him ... or talk about him, it is tearful for her, but i decided what better way to honor such a special animal ... i did one of your cosmetic bags with a picture of us currently and on the back we designed a picture of him in FSU gear (where we went to school) and did paw prints & the saying "in loving memory.." ... she truly was touched & it immediately brought tears to her eyes. She said it was a very special bag/gift. Again everyone wanted to know where it was done!!! Gara - Craigsville, VA

How did you get that picture on a bag?

I gave the golf accessory bag to my Nana (grandmother) with a picture of my baby girl Ella on the front. Nana is in a nursing home and is learning to get around with a walker. I knew she'd like the golf bag, because it comes with a clip. She can fasten it to her walker as she's strolling up and down the halls and sidewalks. She loves to show off her newest great-granddaughter and says "Ella takes a walk with me no matter where I want to go!" She actually saw my mom's Mother's Day bagette gift first. (the wristlet with Ella's picture.) She commented that she would "sure like to have something like that so she could show off that adorable baby." She was so excited when she opened her own gift and found a style that would work for her, even now that she doesn't really need to carry a purse. The golf accessory bag is the perfect size to hold money, tissues, and all those other neccessities that you just have to take along! My mother, Nana and mother-in-law have all had so many compliments on their bagettes bags! I've even had people calling me to ask "how did you get that picture on a bag?!" I love telling them about the website and how I discovered this great gift idea!--- JR - Olathe, KS

A unique present that no one else could top

I celebrated the month of May with not only one baguette, but TWO! May is the month that I celebrate with two of the most important people in my life, my mom and my best friend, Misty. Both have birthdays in May as well as Mother’s Day. Being that this was my first purchase with Bagettes.com, I was really excited to get them a unique present that no one else could top. Little did I know that their reaction would be so momentous, especially my mother’s… For Mother’s Day, I gave my mom several gifts including a scrabble game, pink and white polka dotted garden shoes, and a disco light for her pool. I saved the smallest package for last. As she unwrapped the red ribbon, I could tell she was wondering what else could I have possibly bought for her. Her eyes lit up the room when she saw the bagette and I could tell her eyes were starting to fill with tears. There was one photo on each side of the bag including a family portrait from when I was three and another family portrait from this past Christmas. When she hugged me I told her, “Now, when you see your bagette you can actually hold on to our past and present, while looking forward to the future.” Needless to say, she loves her bagette so much that she puts it on display! Last weekend, we had a family shindig and she showed everyone her bagette through a plastic sandwich baggy so it wouldn’t get dirty! Moms…gotta love ‘em. JH - Nashville, TN

It was the best gift I've ever given her

I ordered a bagette for my mom for Mother's Day this year; she absolutely loved it! It was the best gift I've ever given her. I used a picture of me and her on my wedding day, which was in the summer of 2005. My wedding day was so busy that I felt like I didn't have a chance to talk with her much and wasn't sure she felt included. My husband and I planned our wedding in the Caribbean, so we found a wedding planner and she did everything for us. Although it was easy on us, my mom felt left out of all the decision making and didn't feel as important as she really is to me. By choosing a picture from that day, I hoped to show her how happy I was and how important it was to me that she was there! When the bagette came in the mail, I was so happy with the final product. I can't wait for more holidays to come around so I can send more bagettes! This gift made my mom so happy! Bagettes are a wonderful gift; my mom really did feel special! Thank you! MY - Pgh, PA

A better gift I could not have chosen

I did not give the purse as a Mothers Day gift, however, I did give it as a gift to a Grandmom (or Me-Mom). You need to know the story. This is my husbands ex-wife. As usual, there was alot of anger, hatred, jealousy and much misunderstanding over the years. When her first grandchild (a girl) was born, I thought maybe a way to start the path to a better relationship would be to give her such a personal gift. A better gift I could not have chosen. She hugged me and she cried. Our friendship has increased over these couple years and I attribute much of it to this cute little purse and, of course, our mutual love for little Kiersten. I feel she not only carries a photo of her first grandchild, but also the affection with which it was given. From May to July of this year, she and I will add an additional four grandchildren - Our families are growing and so is our relationship! SK - Philadelphia, PA
